Snowboard equipment?

When is the best time and where is the best place to buy snowboard equipment?
Personally I am Burton fan. Their stuff is amazing. i would buy your board at a shop not over the Internet unless you know exactly what you want because it gets tricky. i would buy it in the summer to get some sweet deals. unless u have a board then wait till late season an get it then because again good deals on good stuff.

In the summer time you can find really good deals on snowboarding equipment ... a store called milo sport is the best place i've ever been to buy my equipment .. but theres good internet sites too like eternal snow.com and the house.com

Depending on where you live, they have ski and snowboard shows every year around Oct. or Nov. It's called Ski Dazzle. Hundreds of vendors sell last years models and current models at a discounted price.
If you are not an expert, you can get a complete snowboard, boots, and bindings for under $200.
Just search Ski Dazzle

Hey, I'm 5' 3" and my old snowboard was really nice, but I grew out of it... a lot it's a 138cm :P awesome for tricks, but getting really small, can any1 recommend a good snowboard? (I prefer DC, Ride, and K2 snowboards. Burton is 2 expensive)
where could I pick up one of those Travis Rice boards?
Want the best, then get the 2010 Travis Rice Libtech board. The bigger sizes have the C2 BTX technology which is supposed to be more for park riders. It will run you about 540 dollars, i just got one. Its a sick board but if thats to much for you to spend you may also want to look at the Lib Tech Skate Banana, you can probably pick one of those up

Its the first time ill buy my own snowboard equipment and I need some feedback. What do you think about this:

May you also tell me which board size i should get (184cm, 80gk)? Ty.
I think if you are a hardcore snowboarder, then you should buy K2. I snowboard about once every 2 weeks and I have a really cheap board and it works.
