Vans Encore compared to K2 Transit - Snowboarding Forum ...
So, I got a pair of Vans Encore 1 and a half year ago, and I got them a size too big, and I'm regretting them now. My feet are shifting too much by mid day, and it's tiring out my feet, a bit of heel lift, some pressure points on the inner front area. I tried changing the insole with Superfeet Blue and stacking it on the stock insole, but it's not working. So I think it's time to get new boots. I went to my local shop and the store salesperson let me try on some K2 Transit, best fit and most comfortable of all the boots I tried (didn't have too many selection at the store with my size, i'm gonna try another shop). I can feel that the Transit are much softer than the Encore. Do soft boots matter much on the mountain? I ride all mountain right now, I personally do more free-ride, but my friends doing more park, and I going in with them. I have a set of Rome Targa bindings, would it compensate for the softness?
